september 21-25 newsletter

Pre- K 4 has been super busy practicing for Grandparents Day and they are doing awesome! They love to sing 🙂 I am looking forward to the first day of Fall this Wednesday another great week of learning and having fun!

This week (September 21- September 25) in Bible we are going to learn about “Baby Moses” and “Hannah Prays for A Son”. Our memory verse is Psalm 23:1.

In Phonics this week we are learning the short vowel O. O is for octopus, opposite, and otter. Capital O is a big pizza. Little o is a small cookie.

This week in Numbers we are going to be reviewing the concepts of 1-5.

Letter O Song

O says o, o, o, o.

Ostrich, on and off. Octopus and oxen.

– Grandparents Day is this Friday, September 25 at 1:00 pm. Look for a note in your child’s folder today. Children should wear red, white, and blue. No uniform please!!

– Bible Verse/ Letter cards will be sent home weekly to review. Please send the cards back daily in the Ziploc bag.

september 14-18 newsletter

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather over the weekend!! We have been busy practicing our song for Grandparents Day! We will be singing “America, the Beautiful”. So far, Pre-K 4 is doing awesome…I am very impressed! We are going to have a great week!

This week (September 14- September 18) in Bible we are going to learn about “A Bride for Isaac” and “Joseph”. Our memory verse is Psalm 18:30.

In Phonics this week we are learning the short vowel A. A is for apple, ant, astronaut, and Africa. Capital A is and Indian tepee with a stick across. Little a is a ball with a stick.

This week in Numbers we are learning about the number 5. We will also be reviewing 1-4.

Alexander Alligator, Alexander Alligator. A says a, a, a, a. Apple, Adam, Africa. Astronaut and acrobat. A says a, a, a, a.

september 7-11 newsletter

This week (September 7- September 11) in Bible we are going to learn about “Abraham + Lot” and “Isaac the Promised Son”. Our memory verse is Psalm 139:14.

In Phonics this week we are learning the short vowel E. E is for egg, elephant, and exercise. Capital E has 4 sticks; one stick goes down with 3 sticks across. Little e is a small circle with a gate.

This week in Numbers we are learning about the number 4. We will also be reviewing 1-3.
