I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family and food! We have a busy week ahead of us on Pre-K4!

This week (November 30- December 4) in Bible we are going to learn about Namaan. We will be reviewing Luke 11:28. There is no assessment this Friday.

In Phonics this week we are learning the consonant C. C is for cupcake, caterpillar, and country. Capital C looks like a big pizza with a slice missing. Little c looks like a cookie with a bite taken out of it. We will also be reviewing blend ladders!

This week in Numbers we are reviewing 1-8. We are going to learn the concept of 9. We will be counting to 20.

Just some reminders for Friday, November 20:

  • Students will wear Thanksgiving themed or colored shirts to school with blue jeans and school shoes on FRIDAY. Please no uniform!!!
  • Please send girls to school with PIGTAILS on Friday (if possible) to go with our pilgrim and indian costumes 🙂
  • if you are sending food for the party on Friday, please send to school in the morning with your child if possible.

Dear Parents,

We will spend this week reviewing our letters and numbers, talking/learning about Thanksgiving during Bible, and working on Thanksgiving crafts! It is going to be a great week 🙂

We have been busy working on and making Pilgrim & Indian costumes to wear at our Thanksgiving Feast this Friday…they will all look so adorable! Students may wear fall colored clothes and jeans to school on Friday. Please, no uniform.

Thanksgiving Break is Monday, November 23-Friday November 27. School resumes Monday, November 30. The Tumble Bus comes this Tuesday, November 17. Permission slips and $5.50 were due last Friday. I am missing a few…please turn this in ASAP!

november 9-13

This week (November 9-November 13) in Bible we are going to learn ”Elisha Raises A Shunamites Son”. Our new memory verse is Luke 11:28. I will assess the students on Friday morning.

In Phonics this week we are learning the consonant S. S is for shark, socks, and snake. Capital S looks like a big snake. Little s looks like a little snake. We will also learn the h blend ladder: sa, se, si, so, su. !

This week in Numbers we are reviewing 1-8. We will be counting to 20.

november 2-6

I hope everyone had a fun weekend and enjoyed their Monday off! I am looking forward to a fun and busy, but short week!

This week (November 2-6) in Bible we are going to review “Elisha Helps a Widow Lady”. Our memory verse is Psalm 106:1. Since it is a short week we will be reviewing our memory verses and there will be NO assessment.

In Phonics this week we are learning the consonant H. H is for hedgehog, horse, and hamburger. Capital H is 3 sticks like a big, hard chair. Little h is a chair with a straight back and a soft seat. We will also learn the h blend ladder: ha, he, hi, ho, hu. H sounds like a puff of air!

This week in Numbers we are reviewing 1-8. We will be counting to 20.
