march 21-25

I hope everyone had a wonderful 3 day weekend! I enjoyed meeting with you all on Friday!

This week (March 21-March 25) in Bible we will learn about Jesus’ Resurrection. There is no bible verse this week.

In Phonics this week we are going to learn the consonant Z. Capital Z is a stick on the ceiling and the floor with a slide in between. Little z looks like capital Z but smaller. Z is for zinnia, zoo, and zipper. We will also be reviewing blend ladders!

This week in Numbers we are reviewing 1-13. We will be counting to 50!

Thursday, March 24 is our Egg Hunt and Easter Party. Our egg hunt will start at 2:30 with a small party to follow.

– This Tuesday, March 22, are Spring Pictures. ALL students will take a pic and you can choose if you would like to purchase later. Students may wear Easter dress clothes on Tuesday. Sandals are ok!

-Report Cards are due by this Thursday, March 24. Please make sure they are signed.

-Thanks to all who came to the Auction on Saturday! It was a great night!

-Plastic eggs and Easter candy are due Monday, March 21. Our Easter party is Thursday, March 24.

-Students may wear Easter colors or Easter themed clothes on Thursday for our party!

-Easter Holiday is Friday, March 25- Friday, April 1. School resumes Monday, April 4.

march 14-18

I hope everyone had a wonderful 3 day weekend and stayed dry!

This week (March 14- March 18) in Bible we are going to learn “Tax From a Fish’s Mouth” and “Peter is Freed”. Our Bible verse is 1 John 4:19. There will be an assessment this Thursday!

In Phonics this week we are going to learn the consonant P. P is for popcorn, pajamas, pizza, pig and pancakes. Capital P looks like a stick with 1 hump; a man with a backpack. Little p looks like a stick with a ball; a boy with a backpack. We will also be reviewing blend ladders! P sounds like a puff of air.

This week in Numbers we are reviewing 1-13. We will be counting to 50!

Thursday, March 17 will be Pajama Day in pre-k 4 in honor of the letter P. Students may wear their favorite pajamas to school with their school shoes. PLEASE NO SLIPPERS. This is always such a fun day!
